Overview
The B.Tech program in CSE-AI & ML was started in the year 2020 with an intake of 60, increased to 180 in 2021 and for the current year the intake is 180
The department is headed by Dr. Kashi Sai Prasad, with Teaching experience of 10 years. The department currently has 35 faculty members, including 5 doctorates. Faculty research interest spans a wide range: from abstract theory to down-to-earth problems of immediate interest to industry.

To create competent professionals and researchers in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with the skills and entrepreneurial mindset to drive innovation and address real-world challenges in the IT industry.
Mission
M1: Impart strong foundational knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning through quality teaching and innovative pedagogy.
M2: Equip students to apply AI and ML technologies for solving societal problems through experiential learning, research, and ethical practices.
M3: Encourage interdisciplinary teamwork, leadership, and entrepreneurial mindset to promote innovation with social responsibility.
Program Educational Objectives
A GRADUATE OF THE CSE (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING) PROGRAM SHOULD:
- PEO 1: Graduates will excel in their professional careers or higher education by acquiring in-depth knowledge and skills in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and related technologies..
- PEO 2: Graduates will continuously enhance their knowledge and research capabilities to match the developments in the IT industry and pursue innovative or entrepreneurial initiatives in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- PEO 3:Graduates will exhibit professionalism, cultural awareness, teamwork, ethics, and effective communication in solving social and environmental problems using computer technology.
